the mine project
who we are
the mine project is a group of musicians who started getting together for a casual jam night once a week in 2007. over time it has evolved into an interesting collection of music - all improv - covering many genres. there are no rules, and no structured "songs" - hence no song names, only track numbers. themes repeat themselves at random and every track has its own flavour. all raw jams posted are unedited and run full length as they happen live off the floor, recorded in our 24 track studio environment. we record everything for our own listening and creative expression, and are now happy to share some of our favourites with you. our collection has hundreds of tracks, so we will be posting new ones frequently.
if you just want some background music to listen to while you poke around the net or go about your workday, click on the pop up player button, and a window will stay open and loop randomly selected tunes in the background.
please feel free to download, share, and leave feedback. music is meant to be heard.
